About Us

Raworth and Harvel, LLC was formed in the early 1980's by George Raworth and Ron Harvel who sought to provide superior real estate service by meeting the need for economical residential rental properties. What began with one residential unit in South Jackson has evolved into a company with over 150 rental units spread from Clinton to Richland - including its premier office campus - Southpointe Centre' in Byram. The company continues to operate with enormous success with its diverse portfolio.

Southpointe Centre', our latest real estate investment, comprises a nine building campus of office suites and light storage facilities. It is located on the I-55 east frontage road six tenths of a mile north of Siwell Road in Byram. In total, Southpointe Centre'™ has more than 43,000 square feet in rental space, where the company provides the same attention to detail as it has historically with residential rentals. Prominent business people, companies, and professional individuals have chosen to call Southpointe Centre' their business home.  We do things right and pride ourselves in not taking shortcuts. We spend more money than guys bigger than us, but we think it's worth it to pay attention to details, such as having someone on phone duty every Saturday and Sunday. This approach to managing our properties has worked to the advantage of the company as our vacancy rates are among the lowest in the area.
